Project Overview

For this lovely little project, We were asked by our clients to design a garden for their new build property.  The brief was to design an easy maintenance garden, to include various paved areas, and beds for future planting.

We provided the clients with three potential design options, and then we took the preferred different aspects out of the designs to come up with the final plan.

The final design included a large patio area to run the length of the bungalow to allow for outdoor entertaining whilst enjoying this south facing garden.

The paved area of the garden also incorporated a curved path leading to a circular patio in the corner of the garden of which we constructed a timber pergola over.  This area also incorporated a large curved planting bed surrounding it.  This was to allow for the clients to plant a variety of shrubs and climbers which in time will result in a lovely patio area for the clients to sit and enjoy the different colours, smells and textures.

The garden was finished off with a small lawn area. (Turf) this was to soften the whole project, and along with the planting, this looks great next to the hard landscaping (Patio/Paths).  The design also included the construction of a paved shed base and gravel areas to the side of the house.
