We were asked to undertake all the groundworks and landscaping works associated with creating this fantastic project. The project was designed By AWB Landscape Architects and it was designed to reconnect the listed hall with the wider landscape including meadow land and lake. The design incorporated the construction of a “Ha – Ha” (A ha–ha is a type of sunken fence that was commonly used in landscaped gardens and parks in the eighteenth century. It involved digging a deep, dry ditch, the inner side of which would be built up to the level of the surrounding turf with either a dry-stone wall.) two reflective pools, paved & gravel paths and various soft landscaping to include grass seeding, turfing and planting works.
